People are always commenting on my skincare. Mainly asking me how the hell do I have the time to commit to 10+ steps in my routine? Why do I use so many damn products? Why am I obsessed with my skin? They borderline think it's comical but then call me from Sephora like, "Girl what should I get?" LOL
I decided to give you guys my basic guide. Something you can do day and night without feeling overwhelmed. 3-4 steps that will take you 5 minutes and will change your skin. Are you ready?
Quick disclaimer: if you are new to taking care of your skin, I always recommend going to get a facial, every other month or once a month. They can guide you on products to purchase for your skin type. And by guide you I do not mean purchase products from the spa, it's highway robbery! I mean they can advise you on if you need an acne cleanser, a hydrating moisturizer, a dark spot corrector, etc.
Now, let's go!
CLEANSE
For the love of Jesus wash your damn face. And not the soap you use to wash your ass, an actual facial cleanser. Below is my favorite cleanser of all time from Urban Skin RX It comes like a bar of soap in a jar and they provide scrub pads for you to use. One stop shop, so it's quick and easy! Use AM & PM.
SERUM
I love a brightening serum! I think all women want their skin to glow and the Urban Skin RX serum is amazing! You can use AM & PM.
EYE CREAM
Your eyes need some love. I recommend something brightening and/or for wrinkles. I want my eyes bright and tight and you do too. Ole Henriksen has an amazing eye cream that is affordable. This cream should last you a long time because a dab will do. Don't scoop your eye cream like some people disrespect your lip balm.

MOISTURIZE
Let's keep it simple, moisturizer is lotion for your face. I love Murad moisturizer because it doubles as an SPF. You NEED SPF!!!!!! It is super important when it comes to protecting your skin. Although I strongly believe in using different moisturizers AM & PM, I am trying to keep it super simple. If you want to purchase a separate Moisturizer and SPF, I recommend Ole Henriksen moisturizer & Glossier SPF.
Commit to these 4 steps morning and night for 30 days and I promise you, you will not regret it!
If purchasing separate products seems like too much, then look at kits. Kits are a great way to discover products and take away the pressure of finding multiple brands to complete your skincare routine. Below are a few kits that have everything you need or just about everything you need.
Ole Henriksen Balance it All Kit
It's taking everything in my soul not to recommend, toners, night creams, other serums, face masks, peels, tools, scrubs, and so much more. But I am not trying to scare you!
So good luck! And instead of coffee this morning grab water!!!! It helps.
